Terms and demonstration disclaimer

Education and evaluation, clearly labeled.

Public demonstrations are learning tools and do not replace emergency instructions or professional judgment.

Educational use

A2C3 public programs provide general public-safety education. They are not emergency-response instructions, professional certification, code enforcement, legal advice, or a substitute for local fire-department guidance. In an emergency, leave danger when safe to do so and contact 911 or the applicable emergency service.

Demonstrations and prototypes

A page labeled demonstration, sample, evaluation, developmental, or prototype may change and should not be treated as an approved municipal deployment. Both the Fire Safety Knowledge Challenge and PASS are currently presented in demonstration mode while content, accessibility, analytics, and release details continue to be reviewed.

Department identity

A department-branded demonstration is not an endorsement or authorized deployment unless the department has approved that use. Participating departments are responsible for reviewing local branding, local content, placement, records obligations, and department-specific notices.

Content and availability

A2C3 may correct, revise, replace, or retire educational content and software as guidance and the platform evolve. Public demonstrations may be interrupted for maintenance and do not carry an uptime guarantee. Contracted services are governed by the executed written agreement.

Privacy and feedback

Use of public programs is also subject to the Privacy notice. Report content, privacy, accessibility, or technical concerns through the Contact page.
